ASN’S FIRST-AND-10: A first look at 10 things to know about the 2016 college football season.

Defending champion Charleston Southern is the choice of media and coaches to repeat in the Big South.

The Buccaneers, who reached the FCS quarterfinals last year, return 19 starters from the second team in league history to post a 6-0 Big South record.

Liberty,which returns 18 starters, was picked second followed by Kennesaw State, which finished 6-5 in its inaugural season and lost by only four points to FCS Playoff qualifier Dayton. The Owls return a league-high 22 starters.

Rounding out the picks were Monmouth, Gardner-Webb and Presbyterian College.
