ASN, your home for college hockey coverage, will broadcast two WCHA games as part of “College Hockey Night” on the network.
On Jan. 6, fans will get to see Bemidji State visit Bowling Green in a 2016 playoff rematch at BGSU’s “Madhouse on Mercer” and then Bowling Green will travel to Big Rapids, Mich., to take on Ferris State, the reigning WCHA playoff champ. Both games will be at 8:30 p.m. ET.
“This partnership allows us another avenue to showcase the WCHA’s tremendous student-athletes, programs and fans to a national audience,” said WCHA President and Men’s League Commissioner Bill Robertson. “The American Sports Network continues to do amazing things for college hockey, and we are proud to join them in growing exposure for the WCHA and our sport.”
With this deal, the WCHA joins Atlantic Hockey, the Big Ten Conference, Hockey East, ECAC Hockey and the National Collegiate Hockey Conference as part of the ASN Friday night college hockey package.
