Tim Scarborough

Tim has been with American Sports Network for the first two years of its existence, calling the first college basketball game of the inaugural season. Tim moved over from Liberty Flames Sports Network (LFSN) where he spent 11 seasons as their top analyst including covering Seth Curry (younger brother of Stephen) as a freshman. As one of ASN's top basketball analysts, Tim has called games in the Atlantic 10, C-USA, CAA, Ivy and other mid-major leagues.

As a former player and coach, Tim brings a wealth of experience, insight and humor to each telecast. Tim played three seasons at Liberty in its first days of NCAA Division I. A few seasons later Tim was an assistant on the Liberty staff making two straight appearances in the Big South Championship game. His final season there the Flames won a school record 23 games.

Tim is a native of Philadelphia and is an unashamed Eagles, Flyers, Sixers and Phillies fan. Also he has over 21 years of corporate experience as a project management professional working for many fortune 500 companies including, AT&T, AOL, Molina Healthcare, Anthem, Sprint/Nextel and SunTrust.
