Princeton, Loyola (Md.) eliminated in women’s NCAA lacrosse quarters


The Princeton women’s lacrosse team, undefeated in the Ivy League, and Loyola (Md.) saw their runs in the postseason end Saturday in the NCAA tournament quarterfinals. The Tigers lost 7-3  to No. 3-seeded Duke while the Greyhounds fell to No. 4 Syracuse 10-7. For the complete bracket, see NCAA Tournament matchups.

In the men’s tournament, Albany’s Lyle Thompson scored his 400th career point, extending his Division I career scoring lead, but the Great Danes lost to No. 1 Notre Dame 14-10 in a quarterfinal. For more on the men’s side, see NCAA Tournament matchups.
