UCF's Tacko Fall stands tall as ASN's Player of the Week

Tacko Fall has been the most dominant big man in college basketball this season.

Last week he averaged 25.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting 91% from the floor in wins against Miami (Ohio) and Bethune-Cookman.

UCF is 9-3 heading into an American Athletic Conference opener against Tulane (3-9) Wednesday on ASN.

Tacko posted a career high 31 points (11 of 12 field goals for 92%) while posting another double/double in leading the Knights to an 80-73 against Miami. He also grabbed 10 rebounds.

In a 71-41 win against Bethune-Cookman, Fall posted his seventh double/double this season (20 points and 12 rebounds) while shooting 10 of 11 from the floor (91%).

The 7-6 sophomore from Dakar, Senegal, leads the nation this season with 83.8% on field goals and is on pace to break the all-time accuracy mark.

Fall is averaging 15.9 PPG and 12.2 RPG for the season.
