SUPER 16 POLL | Late night dramatics lifts Clemson to No. 3

Finally! A weekend of big matchups delivered and made for some moves in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll today.

The highly anticipated showdown between AP No. 3 Louisville and No. 5 Clemson proved all that and a bag of chips with a dramatic 42-36 Tiger victory. Death Valley could have been the end of Louisville's playoff hopes in a matchup of superstar players and high drama.

With that victory, Clemson rose to N0. 3 in the Super 16 Poll, garnering one first-place vote behind Alabama and Ohio State. Louisville dropped to No. 7.

The day started off in roller coaster fashion as AP No. 25 took the lead over No. 11 Tennessee with seconds remaining only to have the Vols pull off a true Hail Mary miracle touchdown pass with no time remaining in a 34-31 win. Georgia dropped out of the Super 16, while Tennessee rose to N0. 9.
