Notre Dame moves up to No. 4 in FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll

While the top three held steady in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 Poll, Notre Dame moved up to No. 4 after Baylor's 44-34 loss to Oklahoma, dropping the Bears from the ranks of the unbeaten.

The Fighting Irish, who beat Wake Forest 28-7, moved up one spot while Baylor dropped to No. 10. Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama remained in the top three.

Oklahoma was the biggest mover, going from No. 12 to No. 7. Iowa moved up from No. 9 to No. 6.

North Carolina made its debut in the poll at No. 13.

The pollsters in the Super 16 Poll consist of FWAA writers, College Football Hall of Famers, NFF Board Members and highly regarded collegiate administrators who were selected to create a balanced-geographical perspective as well as a diversity of viewpoints from the different roles associated with the game.
