Florida moves up in FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll after manhandling Georgia

On a week associated with tricks and treats, fans were treated to an eight-lateral finish in the Miami-Duke game but not a lot of movement in the FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.

Ohio State, off this past weekend, remained No. 1, but the biggest mover was No. 9 Florida, up from the 12th spot after dismantling Georgia, 27-3.

No. 8 Notre Dame held off pesky Temple 24-20 as the Owls started to make some noise on the national level.

The pollsters in the Super 16 Poll consist of FWAA writers, College Football Hall of Famers, NFF Board Members and highly regarded collegiate administrators who were selected to create a balanced-geographical perspective as well as a diversity of viewpoints from the different roles associated with the game.
