When it came down to it, the captain delivered.

Boston College's Andie Anastos, who scored the winning goal in double overtime on Saturday to advance the Eagles to the Hockey East women's title game, scored the title-winner again in overtime Sunday for her 15th goal of the season. She earned tournament MVP honors for her efforts.

Anastos scored the game-winner on a wrist shot from the left circle past Northeastern's Brittany Bubalski. After video review, the goal was allowed and the celebration commenced.

"It’s a little bit better because we won a trophy,” Anastos said after the game.

With the Hockey East title, BC earned an automatic bid to the eight-team NCAA Tournament. They will play host to St. Lawrence on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
