Leading Lehigh to three wins, Tim Kempton earns Player of the Week honor

Tim Kempton helped Lehigh (10-7 overall) to three wins this week as the Hawks upped their record to 4-2 in Patriot League play.

Kempton scored a career high 36 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 79-73 win against American. He followed that up with 20 points and 8 rebounds as Lehigh handed Bucknell their first conference loss (82-71).

Finishing up the week he posted 23 points and 17 rebounds as Lehigh defeated Holy Cross (68-51). For the week the 6-10 senior averaged 26.3 points, shot 64% from the field, 86% from the free-throw line and averaged 12 rebounds per game. He increased his scoring average to 21.6 ppg for the season.
