3-point barrage earns VCU's JeQuan Lewis Player of the Week

MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK | JeQuan Lewis, VCU

Starting the week off with a career high 34 points behind nine 3-pointers, JeQuan Lewis led VCU to a 91-81 victory over Saint Joseph's. The Rams have won eight in a row and hold the top spot in the Atlantic 10.

The nine three pointers is tied for the most this season in the A-10 and the most by a Ram since Troy Daniels made a school record 11 in 2013.

Finishing the week, Lewis added 16 points in a road win against cross-town rival Richmond. Lewis averaged 25 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists per game while shooting 52% (14 of 27) from the floor, 55% (11 of 20) from three-point range as he raised his season scoring average to 15.6 ppg.
