Ethan Prow is two points away from joining the century club for points. Teammate Jimmy Murray is four points away. Should they make it, all five St. Cloud State seniors will have topped 100 points in their career. Ferris State stunned co-champions Michigan Tech and Minnesota State to get the automatic bid, but maybe the most impressive stat about Ferris State's conference tournament run is it limited Minnesota State to just one shot on net in the third period.
Denver is 0-3 against SCSU and 0-1 against Boston University this season, but its Pacific Rim Line, combined with outstanding goaltending, makes the Pioneers a sleeper pick.
The Terriers have struggled on the road this season but have tournament experience on their side having reached the Frozen Four title game last season.
What will be the difference-maker? The Huskies’s power play unit.
- Semifinals: St. Cloud State 4, Ferris State 1; Denver 5, Boston University 3
- Title game: St. Cloud State 3, Denver 2
