Megan Good leads James Madison to first NCAA Super Regional

James Madison, the No. 7 seed overall, will host it’s first NCAA Super Regional beginning¬†today at 3 p.m. when they host No. 10 seed LSU.

JMU is lead by sophomore pitcher Megan Good, a semifinalist for the 2016 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. The Dukes outscored opponents 22-2 in their home regional to advance.

The Super Regional will also be a best of three series with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday as needed.

The Dukes were the only ASN-affiliated team to advance to a Super Regional. The complete bracket for the Super Regionals can be found here.
