Despite losing quarterback Seth Russell to a fractured neck in their 45-27 victory over Iowa State, Baylor remained No. 2 behind Ohio State in this week’s FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.

ffaw_redesignRussell will see a specialist on Monday to determine the extent of the injury. Backup Jarrett Stidham finished the game after Russell’s injury. Baylor is off this weekend before facing Kansas State on Thursday, Nov. 5.

The biggest mover this week – in the wrong direction – is Utah, which dropped to No. 13 from No. 4 after losing to USC Saturday night, 42-24.
