GW AND JONQUEL JONES
11 a.m. ET Friday vs. George Mason
The reigning Atlantic 10 champions, picked to win the league, enter the tournament 13-3 in A10 play, the same record as No. 2-seed Saint Louis and No. 3 Duquesne. While they've still finished in the top of the conference they've been without their star senior Jonquel Jones since early February. Will she make a return in the tournament? It could be a huge difference-maker. Still, credit coach Jonathan Tsipis for the job he’s done in her absence.
2 p.m. ET Friday vs. VCU
Katie Healy and company went 16-0 at home this season. Now the No. 4-seeded Bonnies must take their show on the road. They have road losses to UMass, VCU, Fordham and Duquesne. While they've received votes and garnered some national attention, it's time for them to prove they're the real deal and not just at home. Tournament games, A10 or otherwise, are not at home.
7 p.m. ET Friday vs. Fordham
The Dukes had a handful of players pick up regular-season accolades including conference Co-Player of the Year April Robinsion. It's money time for coach Dan Burt and his squad. They're not exactly stranngers to the postseason having gone to the WNIT the past eight years, but would THE Big Dance be an appropriate ending for such a stellar regular season? They're capable of snatching the automatic bid.
- Saint Louis (4:30 p.m. ET vs. Rhode Island)
