ASN, National Football Foundation join forces for unique programming

NFF logoASN and the National Football Foundation have joined forces to provide football fans a deeper experience into the game we all love.

ASN and the NFF will use the NFF’s platforms to produce unique content to air throughout the season on the network’s college football programming.

“The American Sports Network provides the NFF an amazing opportunity to generate awareness with fans about all the great things happening with our sport,” said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. “From the Hall of Famers who have gone on to become exceptional leaders later in life or the current college stars who embody the scholar-athlete ideal, we come across an incredible number of compelling stories on a daily basis. We could not be more excited to partner with the American Sports Network to capitalize on this rich content and share it with fans nationwide.”

As part of the agreement, ASN will produce a live red-carpet show at the 58th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on Dec. 8 at the historic Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York. In addition, ASN will stream the live coverage of the NFF annual awards press conference at

This year’s inductees into the NFF Hall of Fame include Trev Alberts (Nebraska), Brian Bosworth (Oklahoma), Bob Breunig (Arizona State), Sean Brewer (Millsaps [Miss.]), Ruben  Brown (Pittsburgh), Wes Chandler (Florida), Thom Gatewood (Notre Dame), Dick Jauron (Yale), Clinton Jones (Michigan State), Lincoln Kennedy (Washington), Rob Lytle (Michigan), Michael Payton (Marshall), Art Still (Kentucky), Zach Thomas (Texas Tech), Ricky Williams (Texas) and coaches Bill Snyder (Kansas State) and Jim Tressel (Youngstown State and Ohio State).
