ASN launches 24/7 broadcast network on Monday

Monday, Jan. 11 will be a historic day in sports television as American Sports Network launches a new, 24/7 sports network in 10 cities. Broadcasting over the air in 10 markets — Baltimore; Charleston, W.Va.; Cincinnati; Columbus, Ohio; Greensboro, N.C.; Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Nashville; Pittsburgh; Portland, Maine; and Raleigh-Durham, N.C — the new network will highlight your favorite conferences and leagues.

When viewers tune in at 5 a.m. ET in these cities, they will be treated to the “Atlantic 10 Spotlight,” a show focused on the exploits and achievements of student-athletes in A10 affiliated schools.

The show is a weekly 30-minute magazine show (streamed on on Thursdays) dedicated to the people, stories and news in the Atlantic 10. “Atlantic 10 Spotlight” is produced at ASN’s new West Palm Beach, Fla., studios with Monica McNutt and Jorge Andres hosting.

The centerpiece of the new network will be live sports programming, with 16 live games in the first week — 12 men’s basketball games, two women’s basketball games and two hockey games. To view the schedule, click here.
