14 Hockey East games to air on ASN this season


Hockey East will take center stage on ASN this season with 14 games airing on the network.

conf_HockeyEast“The first year on ASN was a huge success for us as a conference and for college hockey as a whole,” said Hockey East commissioner Joe Bertagna. “These games are the centerpiece of our unique and growing television presence, not only regionally but nationally and into Canada. And, of course, continuing our relationship with NESN remains an important part of our strength and tradition.”

The schedule tips off on Friday, Oct. 28 with a 6 p.m. ET matchup between Providence and Boston College. Hockey East will tip off ASN’s Friday night double-header with games from western time zones to follow at 8:30 p.m.

All 12 member institutions will be on air, including a late season doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 24 featuring Notre Dame at Boston University and Boston College at UMass Lowell on the final weekend of regular-season play.

In addition, a special Martin Luther King Day matchup between BC and BU will be played on Monday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. ET. Friday, Jan. 27 will feature a rematch of the 2016 Hockey East championship game when Northeastern travels to UMass Lowell.
